Simon has two decades of experience creating environmental change, addressing climate futures and, leading programs that today create the conditions for the growth of sustainable organisations and societies. He’s managed environmental campaigns for Greenpeace, as the CEO of the Conservation Council of SA, as well as consulting to large businesses and is now with the University of Adelaide’s Environment Institute.
Simon’s work includes changing an international convention so that it now bans the export of hazardous waste from western countries to developing countries and playing a leading role in the successful bid to establish Adelaide as Australia’s first Solar City (in collaboration with Origin Energy, BP Solar, ANZ and others).
